Commercial property in Pantai Tengah

Filed Under (Real Estate & Property) by stephanie on 25-07-2011

Langkawi Island is one of the major tourist attractions in Malaysia and is also a renowned location among international tourists as well. Where this is concerned, most of the property here are owned by the locals while there are also apartments and accommodation property which are owned by Singaporeans, Thais and Indonesians who buy them for investment purposes. Due to the fact that there are tourists coming into Langkawi every day, the rental business is very lucrative where rates could double or triple during peak seasons.

There are also some who could invest in the commercial property here like those in Pantai Tengah, the longest beach in the island. It is located very nearby to Pantai Cenang, which is one of the most popular beaches around here. The difference between Pantai Tengah and Pantai Cenang is that Tengah is much quieter because the sea water here is not safe for swimming due to the presence of jelly fishes. This makes the beach side an ideal place for restaurants, cafes and retail lots hence, owning a lot here could be quite sound investment. Among the more established resorts here include the Awana Porto Malai, the Holiday Villa Beach Resort and Spa
Langkwai, the Frangipani and the Lanai.
